Yes, as all funds are disbursed to the contractor directly upon homeowner approval.
When the time is appropriate, the contractor will submit a “Disbursement Request”, which will be attached to your online application. LendKey supports multiple disbursements on each loan allowing for better cash management for the borrower and contractor.
Each customer will be asked to review and approve each Disbursement Request digitally in their online
account. Once the request is approved, funds are disbursed to the contractor directly.
Unlike other loans that require specific eligible measures, the LendKey home improvement loan can be used for most home improvement upgrades so long as the contractor performing the work has been approved by us. Exclusions include: landscaping, above ground pool, separate property structure not on a foundation (shed).
There are absolutely no fees to sign up and no fees to utilize the financing. No, the LendKey Home Improvement Loan program is completely unsecured and doesn’t require available Home Equity.

You do not need to be an existing customer with a participating Bank or Credit Union. Through our online application, we will match you with Bank or Credit Union you can work with.
